We love chocolate. We love travel. We love food. That is the essence of the inspiration behind Expedition Chocolate. After seeing cocoa beans in the raw on a trip to Central America, the quest for understanding how a lowly (and frankly, kind of funky) seed pod becomes what we know and love began. Years later, after trial and error, Expedition Chocolate is born.

All chocolate is small-batch and handmade here in Dallas, Texas. We roast, crack, winnow and mill the beans ourselves to ensure optimal flavor. All ingredients are all-natural with no preservatives or emulsifiers added.

Our Origin Collection explores the diversity and nuance in flavor that can only be experienced from localized single-source beans. Our Destination Collection borrows from global chocolate traditions and unique takes on spice blends and other inclusions that create inviting tasting experiences.
